Design, make, and create paper jewellery
Discover a week of creativity, making, and collaboration at our exciting Summer Jewellery Camp for ages 9–14.
Led by our librarian, this unique and imaginative camp will turn recycled library books into beautiful handmade jewellery. Using pages from books that are being given a new lease of life, children will experiment with creating beads, brooches, and other paper jewellery pieces while exploring just how inventive paper can be. This will be an open, playful, and experimental camp, encouraging children to test ideas, try new techniques, and see what kinds of jewellery they can design and make.
Along the way, we will also briefly explore the design process, helping participants think like makers as they create their own original pieces. There will also be time for additional crafts and for children to develop any of their own personal projects, giving them the freedom to follow their ideas and creativity further. It’s a week designed to inspire young creators through hands-on making, shared ideas, and plenty of artistic discovery.

Booking information:
- Cost: £200 for 5 days.
- You can register as many children as you like but please submit a transaction per child.
- You can add wrap-around care tickets to your camp booking, covering early drop-off (9–10am) and late pick-up (4–5pm) for £5 per day; simply select as many day tickets as needed (up to 5) at the time of purchase, or add it separately up until the week before camp, subject to limited availability.
- This Camp will run subject to minimum numbers.
