Climb, Paddle, Explore: The Ultimate Outdoor Ed Camp
Swap screens for summits, campfires and adventure! This summer, Kelvinside Academy pupils (SP-S3) have the chance to step away from screens and dive into five unforgettable days of outdoor adventure. From rock climbing and paddle-boarding to a mountain hike, every day is packed with exciting challenges, fresh air, and new discoveries. The camp finishes with a two-day mini expedition and overnight camp, building confidence, teamwork, and a real sense of achievement. It’s the perfect opportunity for kids to make new friends, connect with nature, and experience the thrill of the great outdoors. An exhilarating week of adventure, laughter, and memories they’ll never forget.

This 5-day activity week will be led by Craig Simpson, KA Geography Teacher and Cameron Watts, KA Maths Teacher. Craig is a UKCC Level 2 Paddlesport Coach with Foundation Water Safety and Rescue Training (FSRT) and Outdoor Activity First Aider. Cameron is a qualified mountain leader (ML), expedition leader (EL), Outdoor First Aid qualified, and rock-climbing instructor (RCI).
